Harassing phone calls, shouting at Flight Attendants in airports, violating election rules, suppressing votes, fabricating voting irregularities, making public statements against their members – this is the campaign the CWA-AFA and their supporters have launched in order to win the election.
If you feel threatened by your union, you are in the wrong union.
The IAM believes the way to win the election is to earn your trust. The IAM’s position is that all Flight Attendants should have the freedom to support whichever union they believe will get the best wages, benefits and work rules for its members. You should be allowed to demonstrate that support by wearing an IAM pin without the harassment the other union is inflicting upon its own members.
If you feel threatened or harassed because you exercised your legal rights you should fill out an Election Interference Form and return it to an IAM Representative or fax it to the IAM at 301-967-4591.
The power to put an end to this disgraceful behavior rests with United, Continental and Continental Micronesia Flight Attendants. You can call 1-877-NMB-VOTE or go to www.nmb.gov and vote to put an end to their shenanigans by voting for a union that respects, not berates, its members. You can end the harassment by voting for a union that considers its job to represent Flight Attendants an honor, not an entitlement. You can end the games and intimidation by voting YES FOR THE IAM.
