Immediately after winning this election, Flight Attendants from pre-merger United, Continental and Continental Micronesia Airlines will participate in the IAM’s historic negotiations with United Airlines for a unified agreement.

In the IAM, Flight Attendants control the process. Standard procedure for all IAM negotiations is to start with a bargaining survey and the first combined Flight Attendant Survey is available here.

This survey will gauge the priorities of the combined group for the first time, but it won’t be your only opportunity to provide input for these vital negotiations. There will be additional surveys and a formal call for contract proposals where you will be able to provide your suggestions for specific contract language.  From start to finish, these will be YOUR negotiations.
